As one of the nation’s leading providers of adaptive outdoor recreation experiences for individuals living with disabilities, the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) embarked on a rebranding effort to more effectively reflect who they are, what they stand for, their legacy as ‘the’ industry pioneer and their vision for the future.  Using a highly collaborative, research-driven process, Sector Brands helped NSCD realize that beyond offering a dynamic range of recreational experiences, NSCD is changing lives, families and communities by redefining what’s possible, rethinking ability and advancing the power of all abilities. The new tagline Rethink Ability not only reflects NSCD’s identified core belief that anything is possible and anyone is able, but it serves as a call-to-action for participants, donors and volunteers to join NSCD in leveraging the power of adaptive recreation to advance more equitable and inclusive world that celebrates each person’s abilities. NSCD’s new brand identity, imagery, voice and campaign showcase NSCD’s powerful view of what’s possible in a new, bold, authentic way all through eyes, experiences and joyful realizations of NSCD participants, donors and volunteers.
